If you or someone you're close to has been treated in one of our hospitals or health services, we'd like to invite you to become a consumer representative.
What's involved
As a consumer representative, we'll invite you to join activities, or ask for your feedback or help to improve our health services.
This might include taking part in:
- advice and feedback groups
- forums, discussions and workshops
- reference groups
- staff education
- committee meetings.
Some of these activities are one-off sessions and some are regular monthly meetings. Others may be a few hours at a time, over a few months or a year. A lot of our activities are done over video chat.
How to be part of it
First, you'll need to register your interest.
Once you're on our register, we’ll invite you to activities that are relevant to your experiences or interests. You don't have to accept every invitation, and you can leave the register any time.
We run training courses for new consumer representatives.
