A splash of colour and creativity has made its way to Bundaberg Hospital’s Paediatric Ward, thanks to a generous donation from Bunnings.

The Bundaberg store has gifted a five-metre-long Bluey-themed corflute wall, originally part of a recent in-store promotion, to help brighten the space for young patients and their families.

The vibrant wall, featuring characters from the popular Australian children’s show Bluey, has found a new home within the Paediatric Ward, adding a fun and engaging touch to the hospital environment.

Known for its playful storytelling and heartwarming messages, Bluey is a favourite among children and parents alike, making it a perfect addition to the ward.

Paediatric Nurse Unit Manager Janelle McMillan said the donation would help create a more welcoming and comforting space for young patients.

“We are incredibly grateful to Bunnings for their support,” she said.

“Hospital visits can sometimes be overwhelming for children, and having familiar and fun imagery like Bluey can make a big difference in helping them feel more at ease,” they said.

The installation of the Bluey corflute wall is set to take place in the coming weeks, with staff and families eagerly anticipating the transformation.

A huge thank you to Bunnings for their generosity and commitment to making a positive impact in our community!
