General wards
- Every day from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm
Maternity ward
- Every day from 10:30 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 8:30 pm. Partners can visit at anytime.
Intensive care unit
- Every day from 10:30 am to to 12 pm and 3 pm to 8:30 pm.
Visiting outside of hours
If you can't get to the hospital during visiting hours, we may be able to arrange another time for you to visit. Talk to the staff in charge of the ward to see what we can do.

Parking
There's free parking on Bourbong St.
We have special parking spots for renal, maternity and BreastScreen Queensland patients on hospital grounds.
There's a park and ride service available from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm. You can park your car in the large public car park next to the Rotary Lodge on Bourbong Street. Volunteers will drive you between the car park and the hospital in a buggy.
There's also free parking for patients outside the Oral Health and Cancer Care Centre in Hope St.

Pick up and drop off
We have a drop off and pick up area outside the hospital's main entrance.
Buses
There's a bus stop out the front of the hospital on Bourbong St. For timetable information, please go to Duffy's City Buses website.
Taxi services
We have a free taxi phone in the waiting room near reception.
Cafeteria and coffee shop
Thirst Aid Café is next to the main reception area. They sell a range of products including snacks, drinks, meals, flowers, cards, gifts, newspapers and magazines. The café is usually open from 7 am to 3 pm.

Accommodation
Families can stay at Red Cross Rooms, located at the back of the hospital. You can ask the nurse on your ward if there are any rooms available. People who need the rooms the most will be given them first.
Rotary Lodge at 277 Bourbong Street is available for carers and families from rural areas who are eligible for the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme (PTSS). You can call our foundation, Partners in Care Together on 07 4150 2863 to find out more.
